George died peacefully at his home on Monday March 28, 2011. George is lovingly remembered by his step children Willie and Bettyann; his four grandchildren Janice, Beverly, Richard and Randy; three great grandchildren Dalton, Angel and Logan; his sister Zelpha McCullough; his foster children as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that shared in his life. George was predeceased by; his wife Ida in 2000; his parents Harry and May (Hoult) Smith; brothers and sisters Martha (Harold) Haughn, Elsie (Michie) Hunter, Douglass Smith, Patricia (Jack) Seymour, Harriet (Ted) Sollosy, and Ernest (Phyllis) Smith. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 4th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Dr. Saskatoon, SK) with Pastor Kim Uhren presiding. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the donor’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to David Grambo of Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (306-955-1600).
