Gerald was born Mar 31, 1955 in Preeceville, Sk to Searle and Tena (nee Dotchuk). He was a kindhearted man with a gentle soul. His passion in life was stock car racing including his time spent racing on 8th Street, and at Bridge City Speedway piloting the #47. From roll over king to best-looking car and crew, dad was a respected racer on and off the track and admired by his fans, friends, and family.
Dad spent his years working as a factotum - a man of all trades. Whether it be towing, working for Loraas, or rebuilding engines and racecars, he took pride in his work. His pride and joy was raising his two wonderful children Calvin and Kimberley, who like dad share in his passions of life both on and off the track.
Gerald was predeceased by his infant daughter Tammara, his parents Searle and Tena, and over the years friends from the racing community. Gerald is survived by his son Calvin (Tanisha, Cale, Leeland, Kaiya), his daughter Kimberley, special family members Jenn Bell, Sherry Kaminecki, Bernice (Jerry) Nordquist, his siblings Gary (Jackie), Brett, Larry (Janet), Bonita, Val (Wally), along with many nieces and nephews. At present time, there will be no funeral, but a memorial race at a later date at Wyant Group Raceway.
