It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Glenda Mae Bettin, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Left to mourn her are her sons Ed Bettin and Jason (Elene) Bettin; her grandchildren Nicholas Bettin, Edward Bettin, Courtney (Josh) Drever, and Kay Bettin; and her great-grandchildren Madisynn, Dominik, Mikaela (and their mother Chantal) who brought her immense joy in her final years.
Glenda is also survived by her mother Delphine Gebkenjans; her twin sister Linda (Alvin) Thompson; her brothers Gene (Randene) Gebkenjans and Wade (Janice) Gebkenjans; as well as in-laws Adele (Jim) Longstaff and Kathy Franko. She will be remembered fondly by many extended family members and countless close friends.
Born in Humboldt, Glenda spent her childhood both in town and on the family farm in Middle Lake. At 17, she met Rick Bettin, and the two later married and welcomed their sons, Ed and Jason. Glenda was a devoted hockey mom, spending many hours in cold rinks cheering louder than anyone—always her boys’ most passionate supporter.
After Rick’s passing in 1996, Glenda was blessed to find companionship again with Chris Domitrovich, whom she married in September 2012. Together they enjoyed frequent trips to British Columbia and Las Vegas and treasured time spent with their growing family.
Glenda dedicated over 30 years to Bazaar and Novelty in Saskatoon, where she built strong relationships with customers and colleagues - connections that endured even after her retirement.
She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, spirit, and love leave an everlasting mark on all of us.
Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St, Saskatoon). Interment will follow at a later date.
