
A Home Going S ervice will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 12th at Acadia McKague’s Funeral Center, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon.
Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by her parents Owen and Mabel Arbogast, her brothers Glen and Keith, her husband John Henry, and is survived by her four (4) children, Philip (Gwen), David (Joyce), Marty (Russ) Paul (Sharyn), twelve grand children,
Bob(Jen), Mark(Kari), Heather, Caroline (Collyn), Glen; Scott (Alanna), Paul (Arla); Lisa (Shannon), Jeff, Kris; Christiane and step grandson Christopher Leonard. As well as thirteen (13) Great grand children: Trey, Shane, Nathan, Easton, Sophie; Mercedes, Xander, Kallaen; Karsten; James, Beth, Eric, and Sarah.
Grace Thompson (nee) Arbogast was raised in the Cullyton area of Saskatchewan until she was 12 years of age, then she moved with her family to the LacVert Saskatchewan area until 1948 when she and her husband made the Carlea area their new home, remaining there for 19 years.
In 1967 with the family all grown and out on their own, Grace and Henry moved to Moose Jaw where Grace worked in a nursing home until 1982.
She has lived the last 20 years of her life in Saskatoon, a city she grew to love in every aspect.
Grace Thompson was a devout Christian and a person of much prayer. In the last years of her life she looked forward to going home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Instead of flowers the family would appreciate any donations wishing to be made to be given to “The Salvation Army”
