My husband Chuck and I had the privilege to share some Saturday morning breakfasts with Jan and Len, and Betty and Laurie Cone, when we would come to Saskatoon from Medicine Hat Alberta to visit with my cousin Mary Cone.  It was a part of the weekend  we really enjoyed.  Such good company.  Jan was soft-spoken and radiated quiet warmth.  Condolences to all.

I was so saddened to hear the news - Janice was an absolute gem to work with!  Janice was one of the people most FCL employees looked most forward to seeing when coming to the office each day - that smiling face and uplifting presence that made you want to reach out and give her a hug.

Jan was the first person each new FCL employee would meet each day.   She also was the person you could have a large belly laugh with when things got a bit crazy.    Jan was the perfect persona for welcoming people, being so kind and person centered, and wanted to help each and every person that came in the door.     Sometimes it was pretty chilly too on those -40 degree days and she always had a smile.     You see these wonderful angels come into our lives to make the "good morning" better, and that was definitely Jan.    I often thought about her and am sending good energy to all of your family and loved ones during this difficult time as I am sure this is a big void in all of their lives.   Thank-you Jan for being such a wonderful person always.  You were definitely an angel for many.  Sending lots of healing energy,

My deepest condolences for your loss. I remember first meeting Jan when I came into FCL for my job interview back in  early 2011.  She began in my life as a friendly face as I nervously awaited my job interview, became my colleague who I enjoyed having a good chat with and later, a friend. 

I knew Jan from my days at the FCL Home Office - she was the first smiling face when I walked in the door. No matter what she had going on, she would always pause to say "good morning!". A beautiful lady, inside and out. She will be missed. - Emily Colborne
