Jeanne Lepage passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon on March 9, 2015 at the age of 80 surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by parents Bertha and Jule Beaudry; siblings Bertha (Leray), Florence (Lebrecque), Jerry and Maurice. Also by granddaughter Denise Lepage. Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joseph Adjutor of 62 years; brother Bruno (Freda); sisters Theresa (Prince), Helen Boulliane and Lucy (Tegenkamp). She is also survived by her 11 children, Pauline (Leonard) Hamoline, Peter (Suzanne), Lorraine (Roger) Schmid, Normand (Carolyn), Claudette Von Mirbach, Bernadette (Michel) Fournier, Alain (Elaine), Marc, Yves (Francine), Roseanne (Colin Anweiler), Rosemarie Cecchini (Michael Davidson). Jeanne is survived by 27 beautiful grandchildren and 19 adorable great grandchildren.
Jeanne enjoyed curling and quietly donated her time and money to many causes including World Vision Children, Bishops Annual Appeal and countless others. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Grounded in the worship of God and the commitment to family, she led a remarkable life of challenge, courage, faith and laughter in which she put the needs of others ahead of her own. Jeanne's legacy will live on in her lessons of humanity and forgiveness reminding us all what life is truly about.
Prayers will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 7:30 pm at the Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St) and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Cathedral (123 Nelson Road). Interment to follow at St. Denis Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Saskatchewan (1815 Lorne Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7H 1Y5).
