Jeanne Austine Bernice Lindsay (nee Halstead) of Saskatoon, lost her gallant battle with respiratory distress on August 17, 2011. She is forever treasured in the hearts of her children, Murray, Marilyn and Donna, their spouses and extended family. Her physical stature may have been dwarfed by her children, and especially her four grandsons, but her generosity of spirit loomed over us all. Even stricken on a hospital bed, she fretted and sent us to fetch a treat for her roommate. The same spirit sparked a love of sharing humour, be it on bulletin boards, stuffed in the post or forwarded emails. Jeanne was a Saskatchewan girl who grew to be a top-notch elementary school teacher, a great mother, and a wonderful grandmother. She will be missed. True to her wishes, Jeanne's ashes will be spread to join her cherished husband Wayne (2001), in a private family memorial. Condolence gifts and remembrances are encouraged to be directed to a charity of your choice.
