May 19, 1980 – February 20, 2016
The family of Jenn Burwash is sad to announce that she passed away on February 20, 2016. Her loving husband Dan was at her side. Jenn Burwash was born in Edmonton to Christina and Jim Dickens. She lived in Saskatoon since she was 8 years old. In 2003, Jenn married Jason Macleod. They had two lovely daughters, Skyla, born in 1997 and Brooklyn in 2001. Jenn married Dan Burwash on August 22, 2009. In Dan, she had found the love of her life. In 2013 Jenn and Dan's son Ryder was born. She often said how lucky she was to have such a wonderful man as her husband. She loved that he was such a good father to Skyla, Brooklyn and Ryder. Jenn was a loving mother and wife. Her family was everything to her. In 2009, Jenn graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. All were very proud of her, especially her Mom, Dad and Dan. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon since 2009. She loved nursing and was well liked and respected by her colleagues. Jenn held the Evans family record for having the most biological aunts and uncles. Her mother Christina had 15 siblings and her father Jim had 13 siblings. Most of her maternal extended family live in the Northwest Territories. The past six months have been a long, hard journey. Jenn faced it with courage, a positive attitude and a fighting spirit. She and her family were surrounded and supported by so much love and concern. Jenn’s family is so grateful for all the prayers, caring thoughts, kind deeds and loving messages that helped them through this difficult time. We have lost a warm and generous person but her love will live on through those who knew and loved her.
