Jennifer was taken forever from her family and friends during an invasion of her home in Air Ronge, SK on January 8. She leaves behind her loving parents Donald and Lorna, sisters Heather and Eileen, brother-in-law David, and nephews Noah and William. Her absence is also acutely felt by many friends, colleagues and extended family including numerous aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada and the United States.
During her life, Jennifer was known for her keen mind, her lifelong love of learning, her creativity, compassion and willingness to help others. Growing up in the Northwest Territories instilled her with a love for nature and the environment and she enjoyed many outdoor adventures with family and friends.
Jennifer was well known in the communities of Air Ronge and La Ronge, where she lived and worked for almost 20 years – first as an instructor at Northlands College, and more recently with the La Ronge RCMP and Saskatchewan Health Authority. Many people benefitted from gifts of her baking, beautiful quilts, or technical skills over the years. However, she will be missed most for her ability to know what other people needed and her willingness to be there to provide it. Arrangements in care of Travis Minor - Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Prince Albert SPCA or other animal rescue organization.
Jennifer has left this world but will remain alive in our hearts.
