Jules was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Patricia. His parents John and Mary, sisters Rose and Frances, brothers Joseph, Nick, William, Peter, Michael, Amil and Paul. Jules was the 10th child of John Chruszcz and Mary Kopiakowski. He was raised on the family farm east of Vonda, alongside his many siblings. He met and married the love of his life, Patricia Suderman in 1969. Together they raised three sons, Christopher, Stephen and Michael. Sadly, Patricia passed away in 2008.
Jules worked many jobs growing up: farming, trucking, hotel owner, real estates, taxi driver, and security guard. However, he finished with a long career with the Saskatoon Public Schoolboard until his retirement. Jules loved the farm and often brought his sons to his brother’s Nick and Peter’s farms to help at haying and at harvest time. He loved to reminisce with family and friends, drink some wine and play Kaiser. Jules was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus but his true passion was his faith. He was a very religious man often seen at his parish praying and volunteering his time to help out whenever possible.
Jules was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, grandpa, great grandpa and will be sadly missed. “Thank you for all your love and prayers Dad, Rest in Eternal Peace.”
A special thanks to the Sisters and staff at St. Joseph’s Care Home for their prayers, hard work, care and compassion for Jules during his time there.
