Justine Gabrielle Johnson

Born in Saskatoon on April 9, 1987. Together, Melba and Justine found love and family with Ken Kuny, Melba’s husband and Justine’s devoted father. Their bond was filled with shared interests and passions in nature, animals, art, photography, and gardening, where together countless cherished memories were created. Justine was a gentle soul with a creative spirit. She found joy at a young age swimming and skateboarding and went on to excel in the water, participating in synchronized swimming. She was an eloquent writer, who also loved drawing and photography. Justine held a deep, unwavering love for animals, especially her dogs, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her mother Melba in 2004, a loss that deeply affected Justine, Ken and those who loved her. She is also predeceased by her grandparents, John (Oscar) Johnson in 2018 and Katherine Johnson in 2005. Justine is survived by her Father Ken Kuny, grandmother Ethel Kuny, Melba’s sisters: Josanne (Dan) Thiessen, and Irene Miller, and a circle of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory forward with tenderness and pride.

The Graveside Funeral Service and Interment will be held at the Radisson Cemetery, in Radisson, SK, on Friday, September 26th at 2:00pm. All are welcome to join the family as they honor her life.
