It is with great sadness that the family of Kathy Chuback-Groot announce her passing on February 6, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit of St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, at the age of 60, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Ida Chuback, sister-in-law Valerie Chuback and brother-in-law Bill Perron. Left to mourn her passing is Maurice Vinet, her loving partner of ten years; her two children: Nicole Thomas (Desiree, Hailee, Charlize) and Rick Johnson (Lucas, Lacie); sisters Liz Perron, Lucy Chuback (Malcolm Tweidt), Delous Scutchings (Brent); brothers Robert Chuback (Myrna Cutting), Peter Chuback and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Kathy came from a large, fun loving family of six children growing up in Kuroki, SK. At the time of her passing she called Saskatoon home. A Liturgy of the Word and Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Windsor Chapel, (704 Windsor St. , Saskatoon).
