Kenneth Harris Batdorf

He was predeceased by his parents William and Mary Batdorf and brother Virgil. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Kathleen and brother in law Joe; nephews and nieces and their families Sheila, Debbie (Gary), Bradley, Grant (Rhonda), Sandy (Greg), Brian (Kim), Trevor and Darryl (Jessica).

He grew up on a farm near Beechy and took his schooling at Coteau Plains and Beechy. He enjoyed playing ball and hockey for the Victory R.M. teams. He also enjoyed curling and spent a few years bowling when he was older.

Kenneth worked on the farm and was employed at F.A.G. bearings, Potash Corp, C.P. Rails and B&T Rubber. He retired at age 65. Kenneth enjoyed his cottage at Whalen Bay- especially fishing. The las 15 years he spent winters at his sisters place.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Acadia McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Drive). An interment service will take place at a later date.
