Kim left this world at midnight on September 1st after a swift battle with cancer, surrounded by family at every step.
Born in Saskatoon to Albert Regier and Linda Doell on August 14, 1970 Kim’s childhood was shared between Hinton, Alberta and Warman, Saskatchewan. Far and wide there was family to be made and to be found.
He picked up the sheers and began his career as a hairstylist in 1988. His raw passion and drive to be the best, led him to become an educator with both Sebastian and Joico. He trained dozens of stylists over his decades as a salon owner and formed a variety of salon sport teams. From racing cars to softball, he had a knack for bringing people together in unexpected ways. In his career as a stylist, he touched many lives and built many wonderful friendships.
Kim lived his life to the fullest. He had a rare and incredible eye for beauty and in his death, we have lost a visual guide to the beauty in the world around us. He traveled internationally for his photography and was published in many magazines both locally and worldwide.
