It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyle Percy William Poorman, a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, who left us too soon. Kyle's passion for music and anime was evident to all who knew him; he found joy in playing instruments and singing, often sharing his talents with those around him.
Kyle brought warmth and comfort especially to his Mumzy, who often woke up bright and early to share coffee with her to begin his day. He was a bright light, full of creativity and kindness, whose spirit resonated with everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the music, drawing and the art he loved, and the memories he created with us.
Kyle is survived by his Mother, Esther Mason, his brothers and sister, Kenneth, Justin and Leah Poorman and his Mooshum (Grandpa) Henry Poorman. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Poorman and his Kookum (Grandma) Bertha Poorman. Kyle had numerous cousins, aunties, uncles and friends who will forever cherish the moments spent with him, the songs he sang, and the laughter he brought into our lives. His love for art will continue to inspire us, reminding us of his joyful and compassionate nature.
A Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday July 8th, 2024 followed by a Celebration of Kyle's Life at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024. All services will be held at St. Paul United Church (454 Egbert Avenue Saskatoon, SK).
Together, we will gather to honour his memory and share stories of the beautiful soul he was.
Rest in peace, Kyle. Your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
