Laura Melrose Baldwin

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laura on Friday, September 22, 2023 after a 9 year courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband and best friend Richard Rothenburger; granddaughter Jade Fyke whom Laura adored and was her world; sister and brother-in-law Gail “Bunny” (Keith) Howse; brother Raymond and sister-in-law Debbie Baldwin; many nieces and nephews; special friends Joan Dival and Lois Mitchel.

Laura was predeceased by her son Birch Baldwin, parents Walter and Margaret Baldwin and special friend Betty Frank.

Laura loved to spend time up north at her land and loved being outside and one with nature. She loved canoeing and going on hikes. She was a passionate collector of antiques, collecting teddy bears. She loved her many dogs she had over the years. Laura travelled in Europe and Morocco in her younger years and he was an avid reader.

A Come and Go Tea for Laura will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon).

Arrangements entrusted to Aimé Laventure.

I will miss Laura dearly. She meant everything to me as she did to Jade and her friends.
