

She is survived by her grandchildren Shannon (Thomas) and Sheldon (Meagan), and great-grandchild (Emersyn) along with her stepchildren Jean Pylypow, Dave (Vilma) Pylypow, Joyce (Lloyd) Serool, Harry (Pat) Pylypow. Also surviving are numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Vern, husband John, parents Peter and Caroline, sisters Francis , Mary, Helen, Jennie, Lillian, Lydia, and Josephine, brothers Esidore, Nick, Mike, Ervin, and Orest, and step-son Paul Pylypow.
Lena enjoyed all kinds of sports especially hockey, baseball, and curling. You would often find Lena in front of the tv cheering on her Blue Jays or Toronto Maple Leafs.
A memorial service celebrating her life will take place at Windsor Chapel located at 704 Windsor Street on Wednesday June 4th, 2025 at 10am. This will be followed by the burial of her ashes at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
