It is with great sadness the family of Lillian Mryglod announces her passing on December 20, 2025. She leaves behind her daughter Jane Daniels (Bob) and son Lyle Mryglod (Della). She will be missed by her grand daughters Megan (Rene), Erin (Kris) and Kelsey (Derek).
Lillian was born in Cedoux, Saskatchewan on the family farm. She was the youngest of a family of thirteen children. She married Mike Mryglod and they resided in Weyburn. Later, the family moved to Saskatoon where they owned and operated a local hotel.
Lillian was a hard worker and always put her family first. She was a talented baker and made thousands of perogies for her family over the years. She was a true “pioneer woman” and had a bountiful garden. She took pride in canning and pickling her vegetables. Friends and family were always welcome with coffee and baking.
She loved watching curling and the Saskatchewan Roughriders and never missed a chance to critique the game afterwards. In her younger days she was an accomplished bowler and loved to knit and play cards.
Mom, we will miss your love and dedication to the family. You were always there for us with a listening ear. Lillian was predeceased by husband Mike, her parents and twelve siblings.
In keeping with Lillian’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your charity of choice.
