

Lorne was born in Kenaston on July 12, 1931. He attended school in Kenaston and Dundurn. Lorne worked at the Dundurn Military Base for 35 years. During this time, he also farmed in the Dundurn and Hanley areas. He loved curling and was an avid farmer. He was a true family man watching his sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports and gave support to all of their endeavors.
Lorne was pre-deceased by his father Earl (Dutch) Freeden; his mother Zella Freeden (Evans); his wives Marguerite (Prime) and Elaine (Ziegler)(Shields); his son Wesley Freeden; brother Gary (Shiela) Freeden; and sister Jean (Kieth) Geddes. Sister-in-law; Bev Freeden.
Lorne is survived by his sons Darryl (Lynn), Warren (Linda), Kevin (Stephanie); his daughter-in-law Pat; his brother Gordon; sister Betty (Rudy) Gjevre; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
