Lyle John Currie

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lyle at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Joyce, his son Scott of Saskatoon, daughter Sandra (Martin) of Calgary, and grandchildren Ila and Oliver. He is also survived by his brothers Bob (Linda) of Okotoks, David (Bernice) of Langham, Cecil (Mona) of Mervin, sisters Marjorie (Vernon) of Rose Valley, Barbara (Ruben) of Calgary, Merle (Gary) of Mervin. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Norma (James) of Saskatoon and brother-in-law Brian (Elaine) of Vancouver, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Lyle was predeceased by his parents Robert and Florence, his brother James, sister Elaine and nephew Wayne. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clavet Community Hall on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers (even though he loved them), donations can be made to the Kinsmen Foundation or Sherbrooke Community Centre.
