Margaret "Marg" Ann Doherty

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Margaret Ann Doherty (Henriksen) on Wednesday January 18, 2023 at the age of 69. Left to cherish her memory are her children and grandchildren Shannon (Tyler), Camryn, Marcus and Jacob Zimmerman, Andrew (Aimee) Brooklyn and Lily Lockhart-Jack, Carlie (Curtis), Elise and Emilia Rodomsky, her loving companion John Wilks, as well as her sister Inga (Alec) McDougall, sister-in-law Sylvia Henriksen, numerous friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Doherty, her mother and father Ejner and Ann Henriksen and her brother John Henriksen. Marg was an amazing mother, sister, wife, grandmother and friend. She was loved by all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be dearly missed and forever in our thoughts. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan (1 – 345 Third Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1M6) or Ronald McDonald House (1011 University Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0K4). A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday January 26, 2023 at Acadia Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive Saskatoon).
