Marie Anderson

With heavy hearts, but thankful for her peaceful passing, we announce the passing of our Mom, Marie Anderson, on December 23, 2016.  Marie was born April 9, 1925 in Melfort, SK.  She lived in North Battleford until High School at which time the family moved to Saskatoon. She worked for 15 years with SaskTel as a switchboard operator. Marie loved to kid around and also loved to be teased.  She enjoyed life. Some of her best memories were with her family at the lake, especially at Waskesiu. Marie was the only child of Sydney (Dick) Dowson and Annie Dowson (nee Sim).  She leaves to mourn two sons and two daughters, Rick Anderson, Bill Anderson, Carolyn (Vince) Hyshka, Janice Shaw (Kevin Clark); grandchildren, Andrew Shaw, Kristen Shaw, Zackary Hyshka.  Marie was predeceased by her grandson, Nicklas Hyshka in 2011.  At Marie’s request no funeral will be held.  A private Graveside Memorial will be held at a later date.
