It is with great sadness that Marie’s family announces her passing away peacefully at Circle Drive Care Home at the age of 91. Mom was predeceased by our dad, Willard Crossman in February of 2010. Mom‘s legacy will live on through family. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her sons Warren (Kathy) Crossman, Bob (Doris) Crossman and Scott (Heather) Crossman. Also left to cherish memories are five grandchildren, Marsha (Jon), Jeff (Julie), Logan, Kristy and Derek along with three great grandchildren, Ellara, Luella and Jess. Marie and Willard were married June 12th, 1948 and spent their entire lives in Saskatoon. Mom was very dedicated to spending her time at home looking after her boys and in later years continuing to focus on Dad, her garden and yard as well as their cabin at Pike Lake. Mom and Dad always spoke with excitement about the square dancing years, house parties with family and friends and just overall enjoying life over their 62 years of marriage. Mom was the youngest of seven children of Alfred and Ariel Wells. She is survived by one of those siblings, Rowena Robson of Victoria BC. The two of them enjoyed communicating over the phone with regularity right up to the day of Mom’s passing. There will be a small family memorial service at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to recognize and specifically extend our Thanks to Circle Drive Special Care Home staff for the wonderful care and attention Mom received there. Your care is greatly appreciated by all of us.
