Marion Bergetta Njaa

March 21, 1930 – October 26, 2014

It is with great sadness, yet great peace the family of Marion Bergetta Njaa (nee Aasheim) announces her passing from this life into eternal life, home with Jesus.  Marion died early October 26th at St. Paul’s Hospital after a long well fought battle with cancer. Marion is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 56 years, Trygve Njaa. She is also survived by her four daughters: Carolynne (Garry Warner), Heather (Robert Van Norman), Holly (Garry Davis), Bonnie (Bruce Kirkpatrick), twelve grandchildren,  seven great-grandchildren as well as her sister, Geordis Cronrath.  Marion was predeceased by her parents, Gotfred and Mabel Aasheim, and two sisters, Thelma and Beatrice. Marions’ was a life well lived.  Her deep faith in Jesus Christ was her inspiration in life, and the sustaining power in her death.  There will be a Memorial Service in honour of Marion’s life to be held at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church (130 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon) on Thursday, October 30th at 2:00 pm.
