Melinda Dunham

May 7, 1972 – July 7, 2016

It is with heaviest of hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, Melinda Dunham on July 7 at the age of 44 years. Left to cherish precious memories are her daughters Kelsey and Ashley Dunham; her father Louis and stepmom Pat Buchinski; her mother Jennie Buchinski; siblings Lorraine and Adrian Arguin (Riley and Aden), Dianne and Barry Lowes (Madison and Morgan), Karen Ashton (Alex), Norrie Buchinski, Tammy Buchinski and Jason Ordog (Koleman and Karson), Mike and Tracy Buchinski (Meadow and Lilly); as well as many family and friends. Melinda was vibrant, cheerful, caring, and with her quick witt, a true friend to all. She loved her daughters with all her heart. They meant everything to her. Melinda had a designer eye for clothing and interior decoration, and often shared uplifting suggestions to others. She was always more than willing and patient to assist others with her amazing computer skills. If you needed a favour of any magnitude she would not say no, and would not consider how far it stretched her. She loved her dogs Bailey (a tiny purse dog) and Nakita (a husky lab). Passionate about flowers, her yard was always so colourful. She loved each niece and nephew, and constantly reminded them she was the favorite cool auntie. The Mass of Christian Burial (Celebration of Melinda’s Life) will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22 at St. Patrick’s Parish (3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon) A Private Committal will be held at a future date. In Melinda’s memory, donations may be made to RUH Foundation directed to Mental Health Association (103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0W8).
