

Nick is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen Kazuska, his daughter Diane (Grant) Procyshyn Saskatoon; Diane’s children Royce (Rikki) Schmitt of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Angela (Dayani) Schmitt of Calgary, Alberta. Son David (Cheryl) Puteria of North Battleford and their children, Jeremy Puteria (Lyndsey) and his children, Alexis, Sydney, Isabelle (stepdaughter) of Saskatoon. Noelle (Douglas) Mark, and their child Mason of Saskatoon. Sons Wayne Kazuska from Yorkton, and Patrick (Bonnie) Kazuska and their children Max and Brady of Saskatoon. He also has many special nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Ronald Morley Kazuska in 1983, his brothers and sisters, George, Sadie, Nelda, Pat, Betty, John and Wally.
Nick was a WW2 War Veteran and was recently honored for his service receiving the French Legion of Honour Medal from the Government of France. After returning from the war he worked as a caretaker and also farmed near Yorkton. He Married Helen in 1958. In 1965 the family moved to Saskatoon where he worked for the Government of Saskatchewan for 13 years and retired in 1984, his different positions were Building Supervisor at the Saskatoon Court House, the military Camp in Dundurn, and as a grain buyer at the Clavet elevator. Nick and Helen raised their family in Saskatoon and have lived in their home until December 2022 before moving into Preston Park Retirement home. Nick enjoyed eating Helen’s homemade cooking, playing his Bass Fiddle in his band and enjoyed time with his family.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mourning Glory Acadia McKague’s Funeral Centre Saskatoon (915 Acadia Drive) Very Reverend Father André Lalach officiating. With interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
