Our Mom was born to Tony and Ann Patrick in Guernsey Saskatchewan, raised with eight siblings and spent the rest of her life in Saskatoon. Mom is best described as a traditional homemaker, always an exemplary Mom to her five children - a constant presence in their lives. She was Aunty Pat to many, famous for her Ukrainian and holiday meals, home canning, homemade buns, cinnamon buns, donuts and apple pies! Mom was an incredible hostess of many family gatherings both in town and at the lake! And as the years went by, the proudest and most loving Grandma to nine and Great Grandma/Baba to fifteen ♥️. Family friend Greg Hnatuk described Mom as “the rock of your family, raising generations of beautiful people” ♥️.
Patricia is survived by her family; Karen (Greg Hanson), Johnathon and Shannon (Andrew, Nora and Luke) and Jenna and Paul Pastor (Anna, Betty, Louella Patricia and Alfred); Donna (Grant Lorenz), Chad and Shoshana Krilow (Charlie, Shane Patrick) and Justin Krilow and Laura Young; Joan (Wayne Zook), Jordan (Sloane, Cypress) and Matthew and Marissa (Benjamin, Olive Patricia) and Adam and Maraya (Beckett, Ella); John Schatz , John Jr and Akura Wallington and Joseph Anthony Patrick; Rob Schatz; and many nieces, nephews and families of her cousins. And special niece Jackie Pinsky (Ken and Brett, Hannah and Jane). And lifelong friend Father Andrew (Andy) Muzyka.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Victor Boechler; by the father of her children Arnold (Arnie) Schatz; by her parents Tony and Ann Patrick; and by her siblings Jim (Josephine), Julie (Andy) Daly, brothers Peter and Fred in infancy, Mike (Ann), Nick (Olive), Olga (John) Hnatuk, Mary, William (Vivian) and Walter.
