Pauline Rose Serienko

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Rose Serienko on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the age of 98. Pauline was born on January 30, 1925, to Daniel and Alexandra Roznowsky in the small hamlet of Donwell, SK. She was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Michael Serienko in 2009.

Left to cherish Pauline’s smile and gentle character are her sister and brother-in-law Anne and Neil Ledray; nieces and nephews Wayne (Wendy) Roznowsky, Kim Thompson, Lynda Ledray, Glenn (Risa) Ledray, Marie (Harry) Turtle, and Sandy (Tracey) Forbister. Many great nieces and nephews were also fortunate to have experienced the kindness, support and compassion offered so freely by “Aunteen”.

Pauline cherished the awe found in nature, celebrations shared with family, cheering on the Roughriders, and letting her curiosity lead to new paths of learning. She will be forever remembered as a wonderful example of how to live simply, give generously, adapt gracefully, and love deeply.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.

A private family service will be held.
