Phyllis Hamann

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Phyllis Hamann (nee Gartner), on April 21, 2016. Phyllis was born on November 30, 1927 on the family farm at Dilke, SK. She was predeceased by her parents, Felicia and Peter Gartner; brothers, Joe, Henry, Peter, John, and George; and sisters, Adeline, Flora, Irene, Mary, and Betty. Phyllis is survived by her son, Lincoln; daughters, Leslie (Andy), Karen, and Denise; grandson, Danny; brother, Eugene; as well as many nieces and nephews. Phyllis devoted her life unconditionally to love and care for her family and she will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Z. Tymchak, the wonderful staff at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre, and Sherbrooke Community Centre – 4th floor for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Phyllis’ name to a charity of one’s choice.
