Rene Bedier

Bedier on April 2, 2026. After a courageous battle with cancer, Rene passed peacefully at the Hospice at Glengarda at the age of 67.

Rene is predeceased by his parents, Celestin and Cecile Bedier and is survived by his loving wife, Genie and their children Justin and Celeste (Drew); his siblings Gilbert (Gladys), Delina (Danny), Irene (Brian), Gloria (Dan), Prosper, Bernice (Danny) and Celine (Larry) and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Rene was an avid sports fan and competitive participant. He played hockey, fastball and golf and would enter curling bonspiels for fun. He liked to go camping and fishing with friends and family. The family often had cribbage, Kaiser or Durak tournaments. Rene loved to joke around and never missed an opportunity to pull a prank on family or friends.

Thank you to Drs. Fourney and Persad, the Cancer Center, the Neurology ward at RUH and the staff at the Hospice at Glengarda.

A Celebration of Rene’s Life will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Chapel. 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK
