

Robert Barry Davies passed away unexpectedly on June 27th 2017. Barry was born February 25th 1944 to David and Anne (nee Schwandt) Davies in Kelliher, SK. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Tommy. He enjoyed his time spent in the classroom with students. He taught in Quill Lake, St Walburg, Lintlaw, Neudorf, Govan, Lestock and Lipton. He was also mayor of Lestock.
He enjoyed coaching and playing a variety of sports. He enjoyed curling as a player, a coach and an observer. He played pool in a league as well as for fun. He recently started playing Bridge again after many years and enjoyed the social as well as challenging aspects of the game.
Due to his extensive coaching and bonspieling and socialising, there was rarely a place that he went where he didn’t know somebody!
Barry is survived by his wife Marg of 48 years, daughters Corrie (Ralph); Leanne (Ross) and granddaughter Morgann, step-grandchildren Lorne and Kelsey and great grandchildren Payton and Kai; Robbin (Rob) and grandchildren Arik and Anne; sisters Maxine Moleski and Gwen Kreps and nephews Darcy (Sharon) and Darin (Mirella) and children Dylan and Sydney. He also had a great life long friend in Eugene Hritzuk.
He will be missed greatly by his family, friends and the staff he worked with and pupils that he taught.
