Bob had a great sense of humour of telling stories and laughing at old times.
He enjoyed all the people that came to visit him, he would have a story to tell them.
He didn't let his M.S. affect his personality.
Bob helped out at his Uncle Paul's farm on his school break from there, he learnt a great work ethic. From this, it continued into the construction trade, welding for the railway to installing infrastructure until he was diagnosed with M.S.
He moved back home and the family tended to him.
In 2016 Bob had to be moved to Porteous Lodge where he stayed until his passing.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Sophie; his brothers Nick Shewchuk and Morley Shewchuk and his brother-in-law Terry Novakovski.
He will be missed by his sister's Wendy Novakovski and Angie Colbert and numerous nephews and nieces.
Bobs request was not to have a funeral. His ashes will be spread at a later date.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff who took care of Bob at Porteous Lodge.
