Rose Stella Ross

With family by her side our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at long- term care in Biggar Sk at the age of 91.

Rose is survived by her daughter Maxine (Randy), sister Sharon, brothers Orval (Rita), Art (Linda), Bill (Rose), Norman (Donna). Grandchildren Camille, Travis, Leroy (Nevada), Jeff (Brenda), Shelly, great grandchildren Andrew, Cayden, Darien, Aubrie (Kobe), Zayne, Ty, Jordy, Sydney, Payton (Bailey), Ty (Sydney), Kyra, Canziss and Irylynn. Great great grandchildren Isla, Pake, Briggs, Ellie and Wrenley as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rose was predeceased by her parents Emil and Matilda her husband Don, grandson Dwight, daughter Gail, sisters Goldie and Frieda, brothers Howard and Ron.

Rose was born in Lampman Sk on Nov 23 1933. She lived on the family farm until she met her husband Don, they were married June 27 1953 in Browning Sk. They moved to the farm at Perdue Sk, where they had 2 daughters Gail and Maxine. In 1963 they moved to Saskatoon Sk. Rose worked at the Saskatoon Convalescent Nursing Home for 24 years and retired in 1997. After her retirement she was a caregiver to her husband Don and grandson Dwight. In 2014 she moved to Delisle Sk where she resided until Nov 2024. There she lived in Park View place and enjoyed gardening and putting puzzles together with her good friends Judy and Helen. Rose was a very caring and thoughtful person who loved to be surrounded by her family. She was always happy when the grandchildren went to visit. Her door was always open to say hi and share some stories. In Dec of 2024 she went to Biggar Sk long-term care. Rose had one dear friend there Moira. She enjoyed the people and the activities that they did there. The staff absolutely adored her. A big thank to the Biggar long-term care staff for the amazing care that she got while she was there.

She will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Nov 1 2025 at Acadia Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon Sk) at 2:00 pm.
