Rosemarie KOHLE (Kirtzinger) July 24, 1930 – March 12, 2021

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rosemarie Kohle (Kirtzinger) on Friday March 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at RUH hospital in Saskatoon. Rosemarie was born at Leofeld, SK on July 24, 1930 to Martin Kirtzinger & Clementine Redding. Rosemarie attended school at Bremen, SK and after school; she worked for various families in the area. On October 13, 1952, she married Wilfred Kohle in Leofeld, SK. To this union five sons & three daughters were born. Life on the farm was busy with large gardens and cattle, which often extended her hours into the night baking, canning and sewing. As hardworking as she was Mom always found the time to lend a helping hand. Rosemarie enjoyed many hobbies some of which include crafts, drives in the country, fishing and traveling. Mom also enjoyed her flowers and hummingbirds have a special meaning to her. Rosemarie’s love for her family & friends brought her great joy. She always looked forward to family gatherings, visiting and calling her dear friends. Her hugs & waving her hand out the window as you left will never be forgotten. Mom’s strong faith and spiritual belief kept her strong not only for herself but for others.

Left to cherish her memory are her eight children, Dennis (Stephanie), Donald (Karen), Leroy (Betty), Susan Andre (Dennis), Ernie (Patti), Leanne Fusick (Barry), Ronalda Vanderstelt (Tim), Lenny (Dione), twenty one grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Annie Floizone, Angeline Heck, sisters in-law Sally Kohle, Alvina Weiman, Ella Lingel, Marilyn Kohle, Darlene Kirtzinger & brother in-law Henry Kohle. Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband Wilfred (January 2009), her parents, Martin and Clementine Kirtzinger and her siblings Evelyn, Harold, Richard, Delmer, Lambert, her in-laws, Frank and Elizabeth Kohle, Eric, Eddie, Francis, Leo & Louise. A private mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday March 20, 2021 at St. Michaels Parish in Cudworth, SK. For those who are unable to attend the funeral, it will also be available online at faithproductions.ca/livestream @11:00 AM CST.
