October 15, 1977 – May 25, 2025
With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we celebrate the life of Scott Stanley Dunn, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 47. While our hearts ache, we choose to remember the laughter, love, and lasting impact Scott brought into the lives of everyone lucky enough to know them.
Born on October 15, 1977, in Eston, Saskatchewan, Scott lived a life full of curiosity, kindness, and unmistakable wit. Whether it was through one of his many adventurous trips, a perfectly timed joke, or a comforting hug, Scott had a way of making life brighter and more meaningful.
Scott was passionate about slo-pitch, the NFL, especially his Minnesota Vikings, and his side kick Jenga. He was also known for his sense of humour, his stubbornness and having to have the last word. Scott was the kind of person who made you feel instantly welcome and seen—someone who turned strangers into friends and everyday moments into memories.
Scott is survived by his parents, Stan and Vickie Dunn, sister Darlene Green, nephews: Kayden and Tallen Green and niece, Brooke Green. Scott is deeply missed by his aunties and uncles, cousins, and the numerous friends that he had in his life from all over the place. Though gone from our sight, Scott remains deeply rooted in our hearts, stories, and laughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 19 in Saskatoon. There will be a slo-pitch game from 1pm-4pm at the Manhattan Ballroom Event Venue and then a social at the Thirsty Scholar (upstairs) where we’ll gather not to mourn, but to share stories, music, and memories that reflect the joy Scott brought into the world.
In lieu of flowers and cards, we will be collecting donations at the Celebration of Life to donate to the New Hope Dog Rescue, in memory of Scott.
