Sid left this world on September 27, 2023 peacefully, while listening to his favorite music and having his wife’s painting close by. Sid was born on May 26, 1939 in Leamington, Spa, England. His wife Glenys and his parents Arthur and Catherine Bowell predecease him. He will be lovingly remembered by his only son Lloyd (Silvia), grandchildren Scott (Jen), Danielle (Neil) and great-grandchild Jax. He is also survived by his brother Ted Bowell and brothers-in-law Ed (Mary) Jerman, Roger Jerman; as well as many nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom. The family would like to send a special thank you to the St Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care staff for their exceptional care of Sid in his final days. A Celebration of Sidney’s Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at St John’s Columbarium (816 Spadina Cres. Saskatoon, SK). Arrangements in care of Aime Laventure.
