Sophie passed away peacefully on Saturday at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 88 years. She was very active for most of her life, achieving a lifetime membership at Fairfield Senior Centre. Sophie is survived by two daughters, Gloria Venaas (Willie), Vickie LaPointe (Eli), four grandchildren, Kelly (Susanne), Stacey (Les), Jodi (Jody), Chad (Christina), six great grandchildren, two sisters, Frances and Rita (Merv) and their families. Sophie touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. R.I.P. mom. You are now dancing in heaven. As per her wishes no funeral service to be held.
