It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Anna Lorenz (Eckel) at the Silver Heights Nursing Home, Raymore, SK at the age of 94. She is dearly loved and remembered by Two daughters, Linda(Frank) Nameth of Cupar, Sandra(Dave) Brown of Vermillion, AB, One son, Dan(Cheryl) of Raymore: Seven Grandchildren, Aaron(Mandy) Nameth, Chad(Tricia) Nameth, Carmella (Jason) Hood, Terra(Ian) Scheler: Tawnya(Jessie) Anderson, Josh(Sara) Brown: Spencer Lorenz: Ten Great Grandchildren, Kaiden, Kyler and Ryker Nameth: Chase and Kyra Nameth; Makayla, Arianne and Hailey Hood; Nellie Scheler; Nina Brown. Two sisters, Alma Klarer, Regina, SK; Betty (Paul) Nistor, Calgary, AB. Three sisters-in-law, Millie Walsh, Edmonton, AB; Veronica Lorenz, Regina, SK; Betty Borbely, Calgary, AB. Two brothers-in-law, Ed Borbely, Calgary, AB; John Young, Regina, SK. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Leopold and Anna Eckel; husband John, sister Katie (Wendell) Thomas, brother Joe (Veronica) Eckel. Brother-in-laws Albert Klarer, Willie Klarer, Albert Saretsky, Sam Walsh, Ben Lorenz, Joe (Annie)Lorenz, Steve (Liz) Lorenz, George (Lizzie) Lorenz, sisters-in-laws Mary (Eugene) Kauth, Eva (Peter) Ollinger, Katie (Joe) Didluck, Theresa Young. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr Francis Kurisinkal as the celebrant. The service will be held at St James Roman Catholic Church, Southey, SK. Rite of Committal will take place at the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Quinton, SK. Special Thanks to all the caregivers at the Silver Heights Nursing Home for their exceptional care for Mom, Theresa.
