Tom will be lovingly remembered by his brother Mike (Helene) and their daughter Tanya (Tim Pierce); brother Albert (Diane) and children David Livingstone (Christine Bradley), Brian, Greg (Mandy), Rikki (Kristy), and Robin (Tyler Fitzgibbon); sister Joan (deceased) and children Angus Sanderson (Andrea), Ashley Sanderson, Shayne Mispounas (Seli) and Joey (Colleen); brother Ron (Margarete) and daughter Jenny (Wallace Gray); sister Veronica (Darren Nontell) and children Joelle and Jennifer.
Tom spent many great years with Crane Supply in Saskatoon working in the Warehouse Department. He’d take the bus in the winter and ride his bike in the summer. (He loved biking!). Tom was an avid joker with a fun personality to match. He was a big fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and loved wearing their colours and their jerseys. Go Green Go! Tom also loved raising funds for a good cause. He was a member of the Army Navy & Air Force Club and helped in raising money for sports affiliated causes by assisting in meat draws. Tom also rode in the MS Bike Tour in Waskesiu for two consecutive years. He was charitable in other organizations as well. Tom, along with his family, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He and his family teamed up to enter many dart competitions and were quite skilled at the sport. He also sat on the Royal Canadian Legion Board. When Tom retired, he would volunteer in early summer at the Blackstrap Youth Camp by helping prepare the summer camp for kids to enjoy. Tom and Judy lived in a Knights of Columbus complex for seniors. Tom helped out whenever he could and has made many friends there. He was on the complex’s social committee where he organized Pub Night, monthly birthday celebrations as well as assisted in various events.
At Tom’s request, no funeral service will be planned. A ceremony at his burial site will happen on Wednesday July 3, 2024 with a private memorial reception to follow at the complex.
