Wesley Cole

It is with great sadness that the family of Wes Cole announces his passing on September 26th, 2021. Wes was born in Nokomis, SK on November 19th, 1953. Wes is survived by his common law partner Anne Trottier of 13 yrs. His son Steven Cole (Raeshele), daughter Angela Thiessen (Tim), three grandchildren Isabelle, Thomas, and Lincon. Anne’s son Justin Kotko (Carrie) two grandchildren Chloe and Jase. Anne’s daughter Jennifer. Wes’s sister Marlene and many nieces and nephews. Wes was predeceased by his parents (George and Winnie), his brothers (Myron, Vic and Ken) and his nephew (Bradley). Wes passed peacefully in his sleep. He will be loved and remembered by everyone that knew him.

Over the years Wes had many jobs but in 1988 he found a home with Saskatoon Transit. He spent 32 years working there. During that time he represented his fellow employees as an executive on the Union Board of Directors. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 29th at 2:00pm, at Mourning Glory - Acadia McKague’s Funeral Chapel.
