Wesley Taylor

March 29, 1947 - March 19, 2017

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dr. Wesley Taylor after a short battle with cancer - 10 days before his 70th birthday. Wes will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Jocelyn "Jock" Taylor and his daughter Whitney Taylor. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters; Yvonne (Marshall) Rawlings, Grace (Ken) Campbell and brothers; Elmore (Margaret) Taylor and Roland Taylor. Wes was predeceased by his mother; Edith Taylor, father; Gordon Taylor, infant sister; Eileen, and sister in law; Merla Taylor. Wes was born in Melfort, SK and completed his PhD in pharmacy at the U of S in 1973. Wes' career was one of his life's passions; he was a research scientist with Agriculture Canada in Lethbridge and Saskatoon for 35 years. During a sabbatical to Brisbane, Australia, their only daughter, Whitney was born.  Wes was known for his meticulous attention to detail and pleasant demeanor, as well as his passions for curling, fly fishing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
