

William “Kernon” Maxwell passed away peacefully at Glengarda Hospital, surrounded by his family, on April 26, 2026, at the age of 58. Kernon will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Connie; his daughter, Tori (Liam) McMahon; his precious granddaughter, Claire; and his son, Shayne (Niki) Maxwell. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Terry (Murray) King and Penny (Bill) MacArthur; his brother, Darin (Nadine) Maxwell; his father- and mother-in-law, Edward and Victoria Ralston; his sister-in-law Corinne (David) Van de Meutter, his brother-in-law Mark (Tara) Ralston; as well as many nieces and nephews. Kernon was predeceased by his brother, Kent Maxwell; his father, Bill Maxwell; his sister, Cheryl Gray; his stepfather, Ray Sadler; and his mother, Jean Sadler.
Kernon had a deep love for his family at the center of everything he did. Known for his zest for life, he embraced each day with energy, humour, and a genuine appreciation for the moments that mattered most. Whether he was watching or playing sports, planning his next trip, or spending time at the lake, he found joy in both adventure and simple pleasures. His presence brought warmth and connection, and he had a way of making those around him feel valued and included. He left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for the life he lived fully, the memories he created, and the love he shared so freely.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 4th at 2:00 pm at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation, 37306 Range Road, Saskatoon.
