I met Alan at the Y.M.C.A. We shared conversations of t.v. programs, documentaries, travel destinations, food recipes and fitness programs. Even though I only knew him a short time, his positive nature always gave me a lift. As a volunteer at the Y, he wore a smile all the time and helped everyone with anything. He will be dearly missed.

My Friend, my cousin, I will miss you. Alan was a special part of my life. Growing up with Al was always adventurous. I enjoyed his wisdom, commitment, and fun spirit. He would do anything for you and did it without hesitation. In my early days we would spend our time Partridge hunting on the Thielman Road in Goulais Bay with Del Webber. He was the one who encouraged me to get my first gun licence. He taught me how to play a mean game of chess, and we spent many hours on Grosvenor Ave. watching Star Trek.
Al and I had a trip planned this May to go to BC to see the 2 new sets of twins. He was very excited about it. My daughter Kerri loved Al very much. They spent a few road trips to Vancouver where he shared with her his love for this world. He was truly an inspiration to our family.
I will miss my weekly emails "Greetings from the Soo"
