McEWEN, Alan Winston – Passed away suddenly on January 7, 2011 at the age of 69. Loving husband of Brenda for 40 years. Devoted father of Steven of Sault Ste. Marie, David (Thi Hoan Lu) of Whitby and Christine of London. Son of the late Robert and Valda McEwen of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother of Robert (Jackie), Roland (Dorothy), the late Valda Baskcomb (late Art) and the late Philip (late Lorraine) all of Sault Ste. Marie. Son-in-law of the late William and Alice Pearse. Brother-in-law of Jack Pearse (Alice), Beverley Laidlaw (Archie), the late Reg Pearse all of Sault Ste. Marie, Frank Pearse (Alice) of Elginburg, ON and Bob Pearse of Toronto. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. In respecting Alan’s wishes a private service was held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice gratefully accepted.
