Anthony J. Rossi

ROSSI, Anthony J. (Tony/Red) - Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital (Plummer Site) with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, April 25, 2010. The Lord freed him from his pain and brought him home in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Crystal Rossi for 46 years. Cherished father of Anthony Jr. (Maria), and Carla Rossi. Loving grandfather of Daniella Rossi. Son of the late Louisa and Salvatore Rossi and son-in-law of the late Sadie Catherine and Daniel Sullivan. Brother of Rose Hornell, Theresa Miller (George), Mary Muio (late Guy/Chippy), Jean Marshall (Ken). He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Carl Sullivan, sister-in-law Sandra Young and predeceased by Gerald (late Edith), Maurice, Fern, Bobbie and Harold Sullivan. He will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and his special companions Chico and Jersey. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 6 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11:00 am. Rev. Francis Ezenezi officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society of Sault Ste. Marie or the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be greatly appreciated.
