Austin, age 30, passed away peacefully on December 26th at the hospital after a courageous and prolonged fight for his life.
Born on October 12, 1995, Austin was known for his deep love of music, his fierce loyalty to those he loved, and the unforgettable presence he carried with him everywhere he went. To many, he was a talented local metal musician and rapper; to those closest to him, he was a devoted son, brother, father, uncle, and friend whose heart was larger than life.
Austin was a co-founder of Blood Shed Productions and performed in multiple roles with local bands including Brutally Fatal, The Revolution, and Far From Fine. As a rapper, he performed under the name Miracle Man, leaving an undeniable mark on the local music scene through his passion, creativity, and authenticity. Music was not just something Austin did — it was who he was.
In September, Austin was admitted to hospital, beginning a long and devastating medical battle marked by unimaginable complications. Despite every obstacle placed before him, Austin fought with remarkable strength and resilience, never once giving up. His family remained by his side through countless days and nights, holding his hand, speaking to him, and surrounding him with unwavering love until the very end.
Austin is lovingly remembered by his mother, Terra McCrea; father, Richard Nadon; and father, Gerald Viau. He will be forever cherished by his sister, Jasmine Jacqueline Nadon; his beloved son, Richard, who was the light of his life; his niece, Mirabelle; his best friend and chosen brother, Luke Lendrum; and by the many friends who became family — a wide circle of deeply loved people whom Austin considered his true siblings and whose bond with him will never be broken.
He is predeceased by his brother, Matthew Nadon; his grandmother, Jacqueline Manzutti; and by many beloved family members and loved ones who went before him — a large and cherished circle of relatives, ancestors, and kindred spirits who welcomed him home with open arms.
A message from his sister: Austin, you were an inspiration to me. You built a legacy without ever trying, and I remain in awe of everything you achieved in your lifetime. I find comfort in knowing that Matthew and Grandma are holding you close, and I trust that I will see you all again when it is my proper time to go. I love you forever and always, and I will never stop striving to make you proud.
