Beverley Joyce Gordon

GORDON, Beverley Joyce (nee Baker) – After a brief illness, Beverley passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Loving wife of the late Jim Beecham and the late George Gordon. Extraordinary step-mother of Margaret Bernardi and Grahame and Tasia Gordon. Proud grandmother of Hilary, Heather and Gillian Gordon. Predeceased by her brother Gerry Baker of Collingwood. Remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Joanne Baker and nieces Karen Baker-Bigauskas (Tom) and Andrea Baker-Nash (Kevin). Special great-aunt of Abbie, Taylor, Dani, Jason and Justin. Beverley was a vibrant woman that loved having fun with her family and wonderful circle of friends. She taught Phys-Ed for many years with the Toronto Board of Education and was an active pioneer of skiing in the Collingwood area. Beverley and George had a wonderful 23 years together travelling the world and spending summers at Caribou Lake. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 11 am until funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Laurie Milito officiating.
