Beverley Arthur Scott

Devoted husband of Verna for 55 years. Loving father of Tom (Shirley) and Tammy (Harold). Son of the late Thomas and Orpha Scott and loving nephew of the late Nora and Merle Hammond. Dear brother of Gail Lapointe (late Hugh), Russell (Lois), Josie Segars (Jack) and Mary Dubreuil. Son-in-law of the late Verna and Dan Gilbraith. Brother-in-law of the late Joy Tecter (late Allan), late Marlene Plastino (Gino), late June Bergamin (Ron) and Sharon Simko (Andy). Bev will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Bev was a newspaper Printing Pressman for the Sault Daily Star for 35 years. He enjoyed curling, camping, travelling and doing Sudoku. Bev was a Deacon at the United Baptist Church and he was a member of the Lions Club for many years. A private memorial service will be held at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) with Rev. Gabriel Araba officiating. Memorial contributions by cheque to the Sault Ste. Marie Lions Club or the United Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
