Charles Franklin Ross

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Charles at the age of 71.

He is son of the late George and Estelle Ross. The children in his life brought him the greatest joy so we would like to thank Jake and Melissa Trumble and their children, also Jim and Sara Mealey and their family. Fun-loving brother of Grant Ross, Gary Ross, the late Gail Swanson (the late Bruce), the late Gerry Collar (the late Arnold), Joan Wyslocky (Roman), the late Brenda LeClaire (late Paul), Pam Rioux (Phil), the late Gwen Legacy (late Jerry), Deborah Ross, Loveday Colasacco (Nick) and Georgina Veith (Martin). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Charles will be fondly remembered for his friendly cheerful nature, he was alway generous and kind-hearted, never hesitating to help anyone. He enjoyed a career spanning over 40 years as a Machinist with Algoma Steel. He was also very active in the community of Searchmont.

The family would like to extend a special thank to Thomas and Bailie Malmloff and her partner James Notte, Rodney and Eva Olar, Jason and Roderick Rioux and his partner Melissa Lethbridge and his dear friend Albert Tessier for being there in his time of need. We would like to thank the Alzheimer's Society, Nurse Nancy and her staff at Collegiate Heights and the wonderful care he received at the F.J. Davey Home.

As per Charles' request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
