Cheryl Jacqueline Swire

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Cheryl at the age 79, just shy of her 80th birthday.

She was daughter to the late Martha and Jack Jackson. Cherished wife of Tom for over 36 years. Loving mother of the late Donald, John (Marney) and Danny (Cara). Proud grandma of Spencer, Stephanie and Chase (Hannah). Great grandma of Shayla, Stella and Myles. She is predeceased her sister Gail (late Frank). Survived by her siblings Gloria (late Jerry), Penny (Stretch), John, Steven and Millie. Sister-in-law to Bea, Philip (Marlene), Pat, Billy (Shirley), Marion (late Vince), Peggy and Mary (Bill). Best friend of Sharon and Dennis Michaud and J.P. (late Phil). She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Tunnel Lake at Maple View for their care and compassion.

As per Cheryl's request there will be no formal service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
